After X years of dealing with Microsoft Office feature to Cancel something useful, I still can not get used to it. If something is proposed by the software product I expect it to be useful. With that “MS Cancel” feature it is not useful. I did not find it useful even once during those X years. It is very annoying. It pops up suddenly and attracts your attention and stimulates to the action. In 100 percent cases I did not need any action except the one I’ve triggered, e.g. to save the document. Hence “MS Cancel” is a design fuck up.
